Junior Wins Pocono
Many eyes were on Jimmie Johnson at the Pocono 400. Johnson had won the last two races, the Coca Cola 600 and at Dover.
But Johnson wasn't the story at the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. Instead, drama unfolded in the final stages of the 160 lap race.
Brad Keselowski had led for 95 laps, but trouble surfaced in lap 18. Kasey Kahne was bumped and his car damaged, debris flew onto the track.
Later, Keselowski had a piece of trash on his grill. His car started overheating. Badly. With less than five laps to go, he allowed Dale Earnhardt, Junior to pass him.
Junior raced by and held Keselowski off for the checkered flag. It was Junior's first win at Pocono and his second this year.
Kurt Busch finished third, while Denny Hamlin took fourth and Kyle Larson wrapped up fifth place. For more details ON THIS STORY, CLICK HERE.
