Jordan Jackson scored 10 of his 16 points in the second half as Northern Kentucky, which had six players score in double figures, pulled away from Chattanooga for an 87-71 victory on Sunday.
Tyler White's 3-pointer with 17:44 remaining sparked a 19-0 run by NKU (2-7) that was capped by another 3-pointer from Dean Danos. The Norse hit four of their seven 3-point shots in that stretch which ended with NKU leading 67-45.
Chattanooga (4-7) jumped out to a 14-4 lead with 15:51 left in the first half but was out-rebounded 33-22 and out-scored 44-18 in the paint.
Martynas Bareika led the Mocs, who shot 36 percent from the field, with a career-high 29 points.
Jalen Billups and Anthony Monaco each scored 12 points while White, Jake Giesler and Dean Danos finished with 10 apiece.
