Saturday Is Free Fishing Day
Catching a fish is a lot of fun.
Catching one without paying anything for a license is even more fun.
This Saturday is Tennessee's annual Free Fishing Day.
Anyone can fish for free without a license in the state's public waters.The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency provides the day to increase interest in fishing.
They especially hope children take advantage.
Here's what you need to know:
Saturday June 7th is free fishing day for anyone.
But remember, it's only on the state's public waters.
In addition, children 15 and younger can fish without a license from Free Fishing Day until Friday the 13th.
