Storm Past Oral Roberts
March 24, 2008 - 12:34AM
With the national player of the year candidate Candace Parker in foul trouble and neutralized by Oral Roberts' zone defense, Tennessee called on its other talented players to fill in.
Freshman Angie Bjorklund hit four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points to lead the top-seeded Lady Volunteers (31-2) to their customary first-round rout, 94-55 over the 16th-seeded Golden Eagles Sunday night.
Parker had 14 points, four rebounds, four steals and two blocks in just 18 minutes.
