Lookouts Blank The Mudcats

Durbin Pitches 8 Strong Innings for Chattanooga

Chattanooga Lookouts pitcher Joe Durbin pitched 8 innings giving up just 5 hits and no runs to lead the Lookouts to a 2-0 win in the first game back after the All-Star break.

The Looks got a run in the 6th when Ramon Nivar scored on a throwing error by Mudcats third baseman Juan Francisco. The added an insurance run in the 9th when Eduardo Perez drove in Adam Godwin on a fielders choice.

Matt Sartor pitched the 9th and picked up a save, his 8th of the season.

The teams continue their series through the weekend. Chattanooga returns home July 21st to open up a 6ix game series with Mobile that includes a double header on Wednesday the 22nd.
