Comments 0 | Recommend 0

The Braves played their 20th road game of the season tonight... looking for only their 6th win when they started a three game series in Philadelphia.

Atlanta, who snapped their 7-game road losing streak with an 8-1 win yesterday in Pittsburgh, jumped out to a 3-0 lead... Chipper Jones singled home a run, Jeff Francoeur capped off the three-run first inning with a two-run single.

Jo Jo Reyes looked like Cy Young in the first 3 innings, throwing only 36 pitches giving up just 1 hit. He pitched more like Neil Young in the 4th and 5th innings, throwing 40 pitches... giving up 8 hits and 4 runs.

Jason Werth singled home a pair of runs in the 4th inning... he singled home the go-ahead run in the 5th inning... and another run to make it 5-3 in the 7th. Hey guys, ever hear of an intentional walk???? Werth goes 3 for 4 with 4 runs batted in.

Brian McCann doubled home a run in the 9th, but the Braves lose yet another road game... losing yet another 1-run game... 5-4 tonight's final from Philly.
