The Nashville Predators, who had a great regular season, faltered in the playoffs, losing to the San Jose Sharks, 3-2 in Nashville in game five of their first-round playoff series Friday night.

The Sharks take the series 4 games to 1 and move on to the Western Conference semifinals.
